On-Premise OCR & Document Conversion for PaperCut MF
Umango used in conjunction with PaperCut MF is the ideal solution to enhance the PaperCut MF Integrated Scanning feature to provide scanning and document conversion options directly from the MFD. With Umango you can also provide OCR and Document Conversion on MFD brands that are not yet supported by PaperCut MF’s Integrated Scanning feature – Umango can be configured to provide On-Premise OCR and document conversion from a network folder or email mailbox providing full functionality.

With Umango you can transform scanned documents into a wide range of formats including Word, Excel and text searchable PDF/A which can be delivered directly to your home folder, email address, departmental shared folder and various other locations including SharePoint.

Scan to email
Pick up the sender’s email address and return a text searchable PDF document, Word or Excel file to them or forward it to other destinations.
Scan to home folder
Scan a document at the MFD and it will arrive in your home folder converted to your pre-configured file type.
Email to Conversion
You can email a document to a pre-defined email address and Umango will email you back the converted file.
Output options
Umango allows you to export to various formats including Word, Excel, PDF and TIFF files. You can also re-create file structures and sub-folders.
Blank page detection
Extremely accurate and configurable blank page detection algorithm which includes filters for resolution, detecting page orientation, sharpening, removing borders, deskew and much more.
Job separation -
Supports job separator sheets and separate on page count to allow multiple documents to be scanned all at the one time.
PDF compression
Rapid PDF file size reduction allows for fast and easy delivery of documents.
Multi-brand solution
Supports all brands compatible with PaperCut MF’s Integrated Scanning as well as any device which supports scan to folder and scan to email.
Multi-processor support
For heavy workload environments you can add multiple processors to enable you to process and share the workload for multiple jobs at the same time.
