PaperCut MF 26.0 Released

PaperCut has officially launched their PaperCut MF 26.0 release, and it is packed with highly requested updates that deliver true SSO, modern aesthetics, and support for the latest hardware.

Here’s a quick rundown of what’s new:

• Modern Authentication (SAML 2.0): This release introduces two distinct identity benefits:

  • First, "log in once, unlock everything" means users log in a single time to instantly unlock multiple connected PaperCut endpoints simultaneously (like web portals, the User Client, and Print Deploy). 

  • Second, SAML 2.0 support allows seamless integration with major Identity Providers (like Okta, Ping Federate, JumpCloud, and Entra ID), giving IT the power to enforce existing corporate MFA policies across the print environment.

• ARM64 support in Print Deploy: Automatically detects whether a user's laptop runs on an Intel/AMD (x64) or a new ARM64/Snapdragon processor and delivers the correct driver, meaning admins no longer need to build duplicate queues.

• New Ricoh Embedded: A completely rebuilt Ricoh SmartSDK app that delivers quicker logins, faster screen loads, and simplified management features like CSV-based bulk deployment and one-click installations.

• Embedded App Modern UI (dark mode): A sleek, dark aesthetic choice for select MFD platforms that gives customers a refreshed, modern look without changing any workflows or user experiences.
